Department History

The Department of Inorganic Chemistry was established in 2021. The department staff includes: 1 Doctor of Science, Professor; 1 Candidate of Science, Professor; 1 Candidate of Science, Associate Professor; 3 Doctors of Philosophy (PhD) in Chemical Sciences, Associate Professors; 4 Doctors of Philosophy (PhD) in Chemical Sciences; 5 Assistant Lecturers; and 4 Basic Doctoral (PhD) Students. The academic potential of the department is 67%. The Department of Inorganic Chemistry is a graduating department for the specialty 60530100 – Chemistry. A Master’s degree program is also available in the specialty 70530101 – Chemistry (by specializations).s)".
Development of technology for obtaining modifiers based on local raw materials regulating the physical and chemical properties of petroleum fuels and their application 2 Synthesis and use of coordination compound quinazolone-4 and its production with d-materials with simple and mixed ligands. In these fields, the department has held 1 international and national scientific-practical conference, published 4 textbook, 6 monographs, 6 study guides, more than 20 methodological recommendations, over 70 articles in local OAK journals, and more than 40 articles in foreign journals

Sodikov Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Tashkent Scientific Research Institute of Chemical Technology, Mubarek Gas Processing Plant, Shurtangas Chemical Complex, Shurtan carried out scientific cooperation with the oil and gas production department, GTL plant of Uzbekistan and other production enterprises. "Uzbekistan GTL" LLC announced the contest which called "The most dedicated teacher 2023-2024" in order to contribute to the financial and spirtual support of dedicated teachers of higher education institutions. N.Umirov assistant professor of the department of inorganic chemistry, won honorable first place in this competition.
